Seb's path to becoming a Product Manager began with a strong educational background. He pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, majoring in Audio Engineering from the University of New England (AU) and eventually finished a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Marketing at Monash University while working full-time. This dedication showcased his commitment to continuous learning and his ability to balance academics with real-world experience.
Early Career Role:
Team Lead, Account Management at Tealium (November 2017 - June 2020)
Seb’s role enabled him to lead teams in ANZ and Asia regions where he was accountable for blended retention across a $6M ARR business unit. He also directly working with product, marketing, and data teams across Australia.
The turning point in Seb's transition to product management occurred when he joined Co.Lab as a Product Manager. Here, he had the opportunity to apply his diverse skill set in product management, marketing, and co-founding startups to real-world projects. This hands-on experience solidified his passion for product management and launched ✨Mesh✨.
💼 Three months after finishing Co.Lab’s Bootcamp, landed his first Product role at J.P. Morgan
Seb currently serves as a Product Manager in the Payments division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. In this role, he utilizes his diverse background in marketing, sales, leadership, and entrepreneurial ventures to lead and develop payment products.
